Dr. Chehra Aboukinane is a professional engineer with more than 13 years of experience in consulting practice, academic research and teaching in the areas of Project Management, Information Technology, and Sciences and Engineering. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Systems Engineering, Executive MBA from Simon Fraser University and a PhD with a research focus on adult learning from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas.
Prior to coming to British Columbia, she worked as an engineering consultant at Parsons Corporation in Austin, Texas. She then joined academia as a visiting professor at El Akhawayn University and A&V Institute in Morocco where she directed major research projects. She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Project Management, Management Information Systems, and Information Technology. Dr. Chehra Aboukinane is currently acting as technical and program director at Global Innovative Campus and an active faculty member at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Acsenda School of Management.
