Kathryn Skau is presently a part-time instructor at Acsenda School of Management, a position she has held for the past four years.
Dr. Skau has been very active in professional associations (ASCD; AERA: ATE: NCSS: NCGE) and conducted research in the areas of teaching; learning theory; cross-cultural citizenship education; and women’s issues. Retirement from a 25 year career at a public university (17 years in administrative roles), she emigrated to Vancouver to join the ranks of private school educators (President/Academic Dean) and now part-time lecturer.
Specifically, Dr. Skau has taught the following courses at Acsenda: University Writing; Introduction to the Essay; Business Ethics; Public Speaking; Urban Geography and Introduction to Music.
