Payment – India
We wanted to ease any concerns you may have regarding payment options during this pandemic.
Flywire is still accepting local bank transfers from India. Despite India being under lockdown and physical branches being open for limited hours, students are still able to utilize net-banking to facilitate payments when choosing to pay in local bank transfer in Indian Rupees.
If you select the “Domestic Bank Transfer in Indian Rupees (INR)” option and the amount is equivalent to approximately 9,300 USD or less, the LRS Declaration will not be displayed. You do not have to fill out and submit an LRS Declaration, as this information is collected as a part of the booking process. You do not have to submit a valid proof of national ID either, as your Permanent Account Number (PAN) will be validated in real-time when you create your payment request. The payment must be made from the PAN holder’s account. For amounts greater than 9,300 USD, the LRS will be partially filled and you just finish filling the form and upload the payer’s valid government-issued ID.
