Dr. Carla Weaver has taught at Acsenda School of Management since July 2014. She has over 30 years of experience in the business world as a marketer, professional, trainer and manager. She has also been teaching at a university level since 2000 at City University of Seattle, DeVry University, and Ellis University. She has taught marketing, leadership, organizational behavior, electronic commerce, business writing, creativity, international management, and international business.
Dr. Weaver continues her research about consciousness and creativity, while teaching, consulting, and counseling. Her work experience includes being a Customer Service Manager for a charter airline company; an Advertising and Promotion manager for a hardware wholesale company; a trainer, advisory marketing representative, regional product manager and regional education manager for IBM Canada Ltd.; and a self-employed consultant, trainer, counselor and coach for many years.
During her career, Carla has received several awards including: Business and Management Faculty MBA Program Teaching Excellence Award, 2007, Ellis University;
Business and Management Faculty Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award, 2005, Ellis University; Alice E. Wilson Award (Canadian Federation of University Women), 1992; and at IBM Canada Ltd, Special Contribution Award, Billion Dollar Sales Club Award, Education Excellence Award, two 100% Clubs, Achievement in Marketing Support Award, Special Contribution Award.
At Acsenda, Carla has taught Introduction to Marketing, Consumer Behavior and Marketing Strategy.
